Cannot say enough positive things about my recent experience with Classic Import. My 2020 Volvo was having issues with my AC not working. After calling several shops and getting quotes for the issue, I felt most comfortable letting them address it. They were very upfront about costs and potential labor it would take. They were also not pushy regarding anything other than the problem I wanted fixed. They informed me about potential issues if I didn’t fix per their advice but accommodated the things I could fix right now within my budget. Everyone I talked to was nice and informative and not degrading in any way which I have experienced far too often being a younger female, at other shops. Prices are fair for the caliber of work being performed. Will definitely be bringing my car back to this shop for any and all future work. Thanks guys!!

$650 for "diagnostic", a new battery, and labor to install. Had it towed there without calling first, as they were closed. Battery was replaced 3 days later. I was dealing with this for my college student from far away, and they knew this. They also tried to claim they had to keep my old battery that is only a few months old and under warranty until I requested the phone person check with a manager about how to charge me the $16 core fee to keep it. (It is illegal to retain parts a customer wants to keep, which also applies to a battery if you pay the core fee.) I can of course go get a replacement now and have a spare. Very polite phone person, Matt. Battery has a 42 month warranty. This fix would have been free if I lived in Greensboro and could have tested and swapped the battery myself. I see no reason to run a diagnostic on a car when you can easily attempt to charge up the battery and see if it will hold a charge. I felt very taken advantage of by this transaction. Will not return.

I almost never leave reviews, in fact I think I may have only left 2-3 reviews before in my life. I personally felt this shop deserved a great report. I’ve got a 2022 Mercedes Benz GLE350. I started having issues with my sunroof not closing automatically. I set up an appointment to have my car inspected to figure out what the issue was. It turned out the sunroof needed to be recalibrated by a scanner and only the dealership has the software capable for that task. Listen, some of the other reviews I’ve seen are so pressed about this shop sometimes referring out to a dealership or saying they don’t have certain software or equipment to work on their vehicle. I for one, appreciate the honesty. They could have definitely lied and said my car needed a brand new sunroof when it didn’t and I would have never known the difference. Instead they were honest, and actually went above and beyond and delivered my car for me to the local dealership -shout out to Steven for the awesome customer service. They were completely accurate in their assessment and the dealership was able to get the sunroof recalibrated in no time as well as fix a recall on my car that needed to be addressed. All in all, h

My knowledge of cars does not extend much further than putting in gas, so whenever something needs repaired I am at the mercy of those who possess knowledge I do not have. Classic Import Auto Service was recommended to me by someone I trust implicitly. This is my second visit and it was as positive as the first one. 10/10 for the work done, top tier customer service and being kept informed as to my options, the progress made and anticipated completion date. I will recommend Bob and his staff to anyone without hesitation. Many thanks for taking such good care of my old girl.
